Nonopa is a founder of Kevinot Farming, a mixed farming business based in Matatiele in the Eastern Cape. She is an entrepreneur at heart, an experienced banker, and an accountant by training with varied experience. She has run various businesses from 2010 as side hustles and in 2021 she left a successful career in Corporate and Investment Banking to focus on the farming business.

Nonopa’s farming business was awarded the prestigious inaugural Presidential Award for Rural-based SMME of year for 2022 for its contribution to women, youth empowerment as well as sustainable rural development through agriculture.

Nonopa is also involved in financial coaching and mentoring of upcoming entrepreneurs through incubators and various programs. She also consults to businesses looking for funding leveraging her extensive banking experience.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the Walter Sisulu University, Program in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management from Unisa and Master’s in Accounting and Finance from Dundee University in Scotland.
